Welcome - Membership

 

Our club has over 400 members and offers golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the game in a friendly and relaxed environment, while encouraging competition throughout the golf season. Residency in the Town of Fairfield is not a requirement to join the H. Smith Richardson Men's Club, as many of our members live in surrounding communities.

Membership with the H. Smith Richardson Golf Club has many benefits, including:

  • Participate in weekend and major events to earn pro shop credit
  • Hole in one insurance for weekend and major events

Interested in a membership with the HSR Golf Club?

 

New Members:

  2. Please allow up to 30 days for your membership to become active. All new members must be approved at the monthly Men's club meetings which occur on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
  3. Once approved, our Membership Committee will reach out with information regarding your GHIN information and how to get started posting scores.
  4. In addition, you can begin posting scores and participating in our weekly and major events!  Please review our Tournaments - Getting started guide and Rules and Regulations before participating in events.

 

 

Prior Year Renewals:

 

  1. If you are a returning HSR member and your membership was “active” last season, clink here to access the returning member portal:  HSR Returning Member Portal 
  2. All membership renewals must be submitted prior to March 31st to receive membership renewal rate.  Any renewal applications submitted after March 31st deadline will incur a late renewal fee, making membership cost similar to that of the new membership fee.  All membership renewals received after March 31st will be processed by the committee in a timely manner returning the member to “active” status with privileges in accordance with the HSR By-laws.
  3. Any member whose membership was not “active” last season, even if they were a “active” club member in prior seasons, will need to reapply for membership and must follow the new member process outlined above.

 

Juniors:

 

  1. If you looking to join as a Junior member, classified as anyone under 17 throughout the season, click here to access the Junior member portal:  HSR Junior Member Portal
  2. Any prospective Junior members under the age of 12 will require written approval from the HSR head pro before a Junior membership can be requested.
