MEETING MINUTES 10/8/2025

 

The board of Governors for the H. Smith Richardson Golf Club met on 10/8/2025
Joe Everard called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm . A quorum was established

 

OFFICERS PRESENT…Joe Everard President, Rich Battista Vice President, Mike
Windels Treasurer, Steve Taylor Secretary, Brian Daly Past President

 

BOARD OF GOVERNORS… Don Dimartino, Brian Everard, John Brockett, Jeff
O’Connell, Brian Zimerelli, Dave Henry

 

TREASURERS REPORT… Mike Windells, see report

 

BUDGET SUB COMMITTEE … Brian Daly, see report

 

MEMBERSHIP AND HANDICAP… Brian Everard

 

TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE … John Brockett, Sr. Club Championship winners
Donnie Reilly (gross) Mark Campbell ( net), Player of the year Chris Flowers
(gross) Aldo Cabrera (net) End of season 10/11/2025. John Brockett will review
and year and make changes where needed. There was discussion of abuse
directed at members of the committee, it was decided that a formal complaint
should be presented to the board for action to be taken.

 

GOLF COMMISSION… Don Dimartino, no report

 

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE… Mike Beccaria, no report

 

WEBSITE AND TECHNOLOGY…Jeff O”Connell, there was a lengthy discussion on
“BOTS” and their use on Fore up software. Jeff will research use and prevevtion
during the off season. Additionally and email will be sent to all members about
consequences if they are found to be using Bots. Jeff will add meeting dates to
website

 

RULES COMMITTEE… Ryan Morris, Matt Hautau, no report

 

CUPS AND PLAQUES… Open

 

OLD BUSINESS… There was a change to the Sept minutes in the New Business
section. Also Brian Daly was not present at Sept. meeting

 

NEW BUSSINESS… Brain Everard was appointed Membership and Hcp. Chairman
and was nominated and approved to fill Chris Flowers vacant seat for the
remainder of his term. There was also discussion about date for annual meeting.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:11
